Lombard Wines began under the stewardship of well-known Lincolnshire winemaker Sue Frecklington. Wines were made from local fruit provided by customers, as well with fruit supplied by local growers to make stock wines. Over time, a working relationship was formed with Beck House, a supplier of various fruits in Digby. With Sue's retirement, wine production moved to the location where a lot of the fruit is grown - Beck House Winery.

The winery is now in its 2nd successful year in Digby and has expanded to meet customer demand for the coming autumn harvest, in addition to supplying farm shops, the Co-operative and regional beer festivals.
